Scratch Liturgy

By nking - Posted on 18 February 2014

During the service on 16th February, as part of the address, the following “Scratch Liturgy”, based on Isaiah  43 v 1-3 was created by the Church congregation, young and older on that day.

It serves as a reaffirmation of our trust in God, and His love for us. As a daily or occasional reminder, it’s a good read. Draw strength from this and Enjoy!

The Lord says:

“Do not be afraid for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name, you are mine”

When you fall

I will pick you up

When you doubt

I will assure you

When you do wrong

I will forgive you

When you worry

I will be utterly dependable and trustworthy

When you step out in faith

I will be there

When you are full of joy

I will rejoice with you

When you feel scared

I will give you courage

When you are exhausted

I will give you rest

When you are sad

I will comfort you

When you call out to me

I will answer you

“For I am the Lord, your God, The Holy One, your Saviour.”

We meet at Catterline School on the first three Sundays in the month at 10.30 am. There is a no service on the 4th Sunday of every month in Catterline but there is a service in Drumlithie Community Church (our sister church) in Drumlithie Village Hall at 10:30am. When there are five Sundays in the month, we meet for a family and visitor-friendly activity such as a picnic or a walk.

For further details, see our calendar page.
